Alan Taylor (b. 1933 - )
arrived in New Zealand from England in 1952. He is an expressionist who has established a unique language that crosses cultural boundaries and responds to Maori, religious and political ideologies of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He is the author of "Maori Folk Art".
He
is represented in the James Wallace Collection, Auckland, and Rotorua Museum.
